Zazen or meditation, even for just three minutes,

I was lazy and had no sense of accomplishment or fulfillment.
Even as a child, I thought, “Life is like a longer summer vacation.”
And I don’t want to feel the same way I felt during my childhood summer vacation.
I thought I had to have a “good item to kill time.”

It’s not a pastime, it’s a “good way to kill time.”

We are rich and busy,
But strangely enough, it’s doing the exact opposite.

Rather than growing cucumbers in your home garden,
Because it’s cheaper to buy at the supermarket,
Letting go of the joy of harvest.

I just can’t do it well,
