Love Letter Project’26

Everyone is loved by someone, and everyone supports someone.

We are deeply grateful that nearly 10,000 people have experienced this workshop, including sessions held throughout Japan, and have had the opportunity to remember those bonds.

It is a great joy to know that each letter reaching someone precious can become a source of warmth.

This year, participants will experience expressive brush lettering and write what they truly wish to tell someone important on a large sheet of washi. We will also hold a Yoshuku workshop that helps participants envision a hopeful future and move toward making their wishes come true.

General Session: Calligraphy Workshop with SISYU

A two-hour workshop for developing the power to communicate feelings through calligraphy. In the first half, participants learn how to express different emotions and intentions with the same brush. In the second half, they put their feelings for someone precious into words and complete a letter on a large sheet of washi.

Yoshuku Workshop: Celebrating a Wish Before It Comes True

Participants celebrate a future wish as though it has already come true and imagine a future filled with hope. Through reflection and the free, rich expression of calligraphy, each participant writes their future story on a large sheet of washi.
