◎ SISYU Exhibition in Shanghai ◎

As a Japanese calligrapher, I am fully satisfied.
The SISYU exhibition opens in China, the home of calligraphy and kanji.
Throughout China’s long cultural history, countless things have been introduced to Japan.
Even kana and katakana, which are considered unique to Japan, are derived from kanji.
Cultural exchanges have continued with respect for more than a thousand years.
This time, we received a warm welcome from the Chinese side who are sharing their culture with us.
